Aeros was founded in 2019 on more than 60 years of combined experience its founders gained on critical programmes in the Turkish defence and aviation sector, as a design and test office specialised in aviation.
Thanks to that experience we were, from the very beginning, a company with expertise in avionics, systems engineering, structural test and design, aircraft performance, aerodynamics and flight test.
That aviation expertise set us apart as a company that can integrate systems onto air platforms, modify those platforms and take on critical roles in their modernization. It also made us a partner for organizations that develop and test products for air platforms.
Throughout, we never took on engineering work outside our expertise. We also never hired out our own people as “external manpower” on other companies’ programmes. On the 40+ programmes we have taken on, we have worked to show Aeros’s high engineering quality — and we have succeeded.
Today we have an 18-person, highly experienced and dynamic team, 83 percent of whom are engineers. The journey that began with four people in 20 square metres now continues across two sites and 1,000 square metres in total.
Our goals are large. We aim to become a trusted engineering firm with EASA Part-21 approval, working on both the military and civil sides — something with peers in Europe but no example yet in Türkiye. Using our expertise and experience, we believe we will bring a fresh breath to the next chapter of the Turkish defence and aviation sector as a company that meets aviation certification and safety requirements and offers competitive solutions on schedule and cost.
